Jason Melo joined the Equity Sales and Trading team at Scotiabank in 2018 and brings over 12 years of institutional trading experience from both the buy side (RBC Asset Management) and the sell side. As Managing Director and Head of Canadian Agency Trading Jason is responsible for overseeing our client facing institutional sales traders.

Paul O'Hea, Managing Director, Head of Canadian Equity Trading, Scotiabank

Paul O’Hea joined the Equity Sales and Trading team at Scotiabank in 2011 and brings over 10 years of institutional trading experience from both RBC and Merrill Lynch. As Managing Director and Head of Canadian Equity Trading Paul is responsible for overseeing our execution platform and services, risk capital and our global client relationships. Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University.
