As we approach the end of 2017, CIRI BC has asked some of the top
thought leaders in IR to join us for an end of year learning and
networking event.
Join us on Thursday, November 16th for a riveting discussion with
three senior IROs from varying industries, discussing key topics and
themes encountered in 2017 as well as sharing what is on their radar for
2018. This event is eligible for 2 CEUs.
Speakers
Meghan Brown, MBA
Vice President, Investor Relations, Leagold Mining Corporation
Meghan Brown
is an investor relations professional with 25 years of experience in
communications and investor relations in the resource sector. Meghan
started her career with Suncor Energy and has worked for TransCanada
PipeLines, Placer Dome, Ventana Gold, Endeavour Silver, as well as
several junior mineral exploration and development companies with assets
in Colombia, Peru, China, Africa, Canada, Mexico and the US. Ms. Brown
holds a BA from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from
Queen's University. She is Past Chair of the Board of Directors of the
Canadian Investor Relations Institute, a Director of the Canadian Cancer
Society BC/Yukon division, and a member of the Institute of Corporate
Directors. Meghan has completed the Canadian Securities Course and the
Institute of Corporate Directors' Governance Essentials Program for
Directors of Not-for-Profit Organizations.

Sandra Daycock, CPA, CMA
Director, Investor Relations, Methanex Corporation
Sandra Daycock leads the Investor Relations function at Methanex
Corporation and is the company’s primary contact with the investment
community. Prior to her current role, Sandra held various financial
management roles with Methanex in the areas of tax reporting, transfer
pricing, project financing, treasury forecasting, financial analysis and
corporate development. Sandra graduated from the University of
Manitoba with a Master of Arts in Economics. She also holds a Certified
Professional Accountant (CPA-CMA) designation. Sandra is the Chair for
the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) BC Chapter Executive,
and is a member of the CIRI National Board.
Kettina Cordero, CPIR
Director, Investor Relations, CRH Medical Corporation
Kettina
holds the CPIR designation since 2012. Over 10 years’ designing and
executing the Investor Relations programs of Canadian dual-listed
companies, first in the mining industry and more recently in medical
services and products. She has a solid understanding of capital markets
and the investment community and has participated in several corporate
financing and M&A transactions. In her current role Kettina manages
all aspects of CRH Medical’s Investor Relations program, working closely
with the Company’s CEO and Executive Management.
