CIRI Alberta - Holiday Social
Event Description
Join CIRI Alberta as we launch the
holiday season with festive cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Reconnect with
your CIRI colleagues and friends, make new connections and celebrate
the spirit of the season.
As part of CIRI Alberta's Holiday
tradition, there will be a charitable element to the evening. In lieu of
payment to attend the event, members are asked to please bring a
nonperishable food item or a cash donation for the Veterans Poppy Fund.
The Veteran's Poppy Fund provides
wide ranging services for veterans and their families, with a primary
focus on emergency assistance such as shelter, food, utility bills,
prescriptions and transportation. In combination, the Fund assists
almost 200 veterans and their families in Calgary and Edmonton each
month.
