Leslie Preston, Senior Economist, TD Bank

Leslie Preston joined TD Economics department in January 2011, and has over twelve years’ experience as an economist. In her current role as a Senior Economist, Leslie works on macroeconomic forecasts and current analysis for the U.S. economy. In her time at TD, Leslie has worked on a wide range of subjects including public policy issues, the monthly financial markets Dollars & Sense publication and the Canadian macroeconomic forecast. She regularly speaks about the economic outlook to various internal and external audiences, and provides economic commentary to the media. Leslie holds a Masters of Arts degree in economics from the University of Toronto and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Queen’s University.
