Nicola Lambrechts, crisis communications specialist, has been on the front lines of the COVID-19 response in British Columbia since the start of the pandemic. With decades of experience helping companies craft their message and safely navigate potential media pitfalls during a crisis, Nicola will share advice and experience from working behind the scenes as the COVID-19 pandemic became headline news. Learn how Nicola has worked with her clients to deliver difficult news while inspiring people across Canada to do the right thing in what is arguably one of Canada’s most trying times.

Nicola Lambrechts,

Nicola brings well over two decades of experience providing senior strategic counsel to her clients. Prior to starting NLK in 2018, Nicola worked at two Canadian public relations agencies as a Partner and Vice President for a combined 20 years. She has provided advice to a wide range of clients in technology, transportation, energy, mining, forestry, financial services, manufacturing and commercial real estate development. She was also previously the Director of Communications and Community Relations at Best Buy Canada.
Nicola holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of British Columbia and has also completed the Canadian Securities Course. Active in the community, she is on the Board of Directors of Special Olympics British Columbia. Nicola is passionate about the west coast and enjoys spending time outside whenever possible.
