POSTPONED - BC: What Do You Do When the Barbarians Are At The Gate?

POSTPONED:

Please stay tuned for an update on a rescheduled date

With proxy season upon us, shareholder activism is usually not far behind. While the volume of board activism has dropped off in 2019, transactional activism hit unprecedented levels, including against some of the country's largest and most prominent deals, while the number of shareholder proposals has doubled.

As an IRO, what can you do to ensure you are in the best position to prevent, prepare and manage shareholder activism in all of its forms?  We've brought together an expert panel, including two institutional investors who have been intimately involved or lead activist campaigns, an IRO who has been involved in multiple activist campaigns and a proxy solicitor who has worked on many of Canada’s largest and most notable activist engagements.  Join us as they share their perspective on how you can prepare for this season.

This event is eligible for 2 CEUs.
