AB: AGM and the Wild World of Weed

We invite you to join CIRI Alberta for the 2019 Annual General Meeting on May 8th. Following the business of the meeting, stay for an interesting and informative panel discussion about the ‘Wild World of Weed’ in the cannabis industry, which will include a licensed producer (upstream), processor (midstream) and retailer (downstream). This event is eligible for 2 CEUs.

Since the legalization of recreational cannabis for adult use on October 17, 2018, it has been consuming our news cycle and changing the Canadian landscape. Job creation, social stigmas, product shortages, share price volatility, governance issues, regulatory curveballs, the black market, consolidation, activism, you name it – the cannabis industry has dealt with it all, in a short period of time. You will come away with a better understanding of how the industry is structured and hear a few good stories too.

Join us for a lively discussion and snacks. The panel will be moderated by AltaCorp Capital and feature speakers from Hexo Corp, Canopy Growth, Valens GroWorks and High Tide.
