Richard Carleton, Chief Executive Officer, CNSX Markets Inc.
Richard Carleton was appointed CEO of the Canadian Securities Exchange in July 2011. During his tenure, Richard and the CSE team led a re-capitalization of the exchange in 2012-2013 and established relationships with key influencers in the Canadian securities industry and beyond. These efforts positioned the exchange to take a leading role in the provision of public capital to entrepreneurial companies; from 2014 on, the CSE set a series of records for new listings, capital raised by issuers and trading turnover. An early advocate for the cannabis industry, the CSE is now the global exchange leader in the listing of issuers in the space. Recognized by the Financial Post Magazine as one of Canada’s “25 Cannabis Industry Power Players”, and a recipient of the American Trade Association’s “Captain of Industry” Award in November 2018, Richard is a frequent speaker on early stage company finance issues around the world.
Steve Szeto, Head of Global Equity Execution & Strategy, RBC Capital Markets
Steven Szeto is currently the Global Head of Equity Execution Strategy at RBC Capital Markets. Mr. Szeto has been at RBC for over 8 years within the Institutional Equities Trading Division, focused on Algorithmic and Electronic Trading. In his current role, he is responsible for client focused, long horizon strategic initiatives for the Global Equities Execution business. Mr. Szeto is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto.
Matt Tractenberg, Investor Relations Partner, Q4 Inc.
Matt Tractenberg has been a senior executive providing finance and Investor Relations services to public companies, including Cisco Systems and Belden, for more than 20 years. Currently, Matt is the Investor Relations Partner at Q4, delivering IR advisory services to clients through an innovative solution titled the IR Success Platform. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Investor Relations at WestRock, US based provider of paper and packaging solutions with sales exceeding $20 billion annually.
Matt has held a variety of finance roles and IR roles at companies across a variety of sectors including technology, industrial, and basic materials. He is a regular public speaker on corporate strategy, financial market structure, and corporate positioning. He holds a B.S. in Accountancy and an MBA specializing in Financial Management & Markets. Born and raised in New York, he now lives in Atlanta with his wife Paige and two children.
Selina Wang, Vice President, Electronic Sales & Trading, RBC Capital Markets
Selina Wang is a Vice President on the Institutional Equity Electronic Trading desk at RBC Capital Markets. She is responsible for the Canadian electronic trading business where her team takes ownership for the complete user experience in algorithmic trading. Selina provides real-time trading advice, develops customized trading strategies, and builds long lasting relationships with institutional clients. Selina is an advocate for young leaders and diversity at work; she sits on the committees for the Global Markets Future Leaders Forum and RWomen within RBCCM. She also serves as a director on the Board of Institutional Equity Traders Association (IETA), a non-profit organization in the equity trading community. Selina has a B.Com degree from Rotman Commerce, University of Toronto. She is also a CFA charterholder.
