Marina Davies, Associate Vice-President, Investor Relations, Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited
Marina Davies is a Senior Leader in Finance with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis and a deep knowledge of Canadian Tire’s retail business. For the last four years Marina has been leading the Investor Relations function at CTC.
In her role as an Associate Vice President, Investor Relations, Marina plays a lead role in creating a comprehensive investor relations program and manages the critically important relationships with the investor and analyst communities. Marina joined Canadian Tire in 2001 as an analyst supporting the Automotive business and since then has held progressively more senior roles in Financial Planning and Analysis, Strategy, Corporate Planning and Forecasting, Corporate Finance and most recently Investor Relations. During this time, she has built strong relationship across the organization and has acted as a trusted advisor to Canadian Tire’s merchant and the finance executive team. Marina holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Rotman’s School of Management at the University of Toronto and a CFA designation.
Ana Raman, Senior Manager, Investor Relations, Shopify
Ana Raman is Senior Manager, Investor Relations at Shopify, a leading global commerce company. Her responsibilities include communicating the company’s strategy, growth opportunities, and business initiatives to shareholders and the investor community. Prior to joining Shopify in 2018, Ana was Director of Product Marketing with BlackBerry. Prior to joining BlackBerry, Ana held various senior investor relations and finance roles spanning the life sciences, energy, and banking industries. Ana holds an MBA from Dalhousie University and a B.Sc. (Honours) in Psychology from Carleton University.
Richard Tse, Managing Director & Technology Analyst, National Bank Financial Markets
Richard Tse is a Managing Director and Technology Analyst with National Bank Financial Markets. Having worked in the technology sector for over 15 years, his experience gives him a wide range of perspectives and insight from strategy and operations to financing and valuations. Richard is ranked a "Top Gun" Analyst according to Brendan Wood International; he has won numerous awards for stock picking according to StarMine | Thomson Reuters. His research has also been referenced in publications such as the Globe and Mail, Financial Post, The Guardian, and the Wall Street Journal. Having began his technology career at Nortel Networks, he moved into Technology Equity Research with Merrill Lynch's Global Technology Team. As a result, Richard provides a global perspective as it relates to his coverage of public technology companies that range from small to large capitalization names like CGI, Constellation Software, Kinaxis, Lightspeed, OpenText, and Shopify among many others. A curious person with an interest in learning, he's also engaged with new, early stage companies as an angel investor and sounding board for companies looking for an objective perspective / insight given his broad experience. Richard also holds the CA, CPA, and CFA designations.
